Beechbrook Cottage - Picture Puzzle Solved

In a previous issue of Realm Magazine, the publisher had featured a small 1" picture
of a cottage that looked strangely familiar. Upon investigation, we found that
it was the exact cottage which was featured in a jigsaw puzzle our daughters
assembled over 13 years ago!

The puzzle came with no name or location for the pretty cottage it featured.

Below is Realm's picture in issue #77 Nov/Dec 1997. (enlarged just a bit)

Inscribed on the picture is "Pretty cottages at Welford-on-Avon".
Now we had a village name where we could begin our search.
We contacted Paul Hulme, of Homemade Holidays in England,
who put us on the right path to Welford-on-Avon.

Below is a 1998 picture of Karen and the girls in front of our "picture puzzle" cottage,
once we located the village of Welford-on-Avon.

Notice our "picture puzzle" in the center of the photograph below.
Our girls assembled the puzzle well over 13 years ago and it has hung in our home every since.
