Beechbrook was given its name by Robert Weaver, builder and owner, in the early 1900's. Weaver chose the name because of the abundance of beech wood trees, and the two water sources that flow throughout the property. |

The cottage was originally surrounded by some 100 acres, many of which were planted in apple trees. Today we enjoy the beauty of nature among the great oaks. |

| The site of an old mill pond has become our "orchard". The pond was lost during a great flood in 1916. Four apple trees and one peach tree does constitute an orchard, doesn't it ?? | |||||||||
